Selling some of my jazz LP collection….a lot of original issues.
NOTE!.....This is an original issue, not a later reissue or foreign copy.
First or early pressing of this classic album. It’s a US issue imported to the UK – the import stamps are on the back cover. Here’s the details:
The record has the Rudy Van Gelder initials (RVG) stamped in the dead wax and has the "EAR" symbol – on both sides. Printed on the lower part of the sleeve is "reed miles / Francis Wolff"
The record has a "deep groove" (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label.) The address 43 West 63rd Street., New York 23 is on the label.
Record is very good, light ‘paper’ lines and plays fine. Usual vinyl background in some parts but nothing serious. The thick card sleeve is all in one piece! NO splits,rips or writing. Slight discolour to back.
