"Blue Train" is Coltrane's only recording as a session leader at Blue Note Records. Coltrane left a great number of records in his short life of 40 years and 10 months. It is also a testimony of a genius, but among them, "Blue Train" is definitely one of the masterpieces. In fact, Coltrane was in late bloom, and it took a long time for the huge hidden talent to bloom. I recorded this record a week before my 31st birthday. Isn't it a little familiar?
