This one is a stereo first pressing of John Coltrane's A LOVE SUPREME on Impulse Records AS-77 (A-77 on the cover). Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder on December 1964, with "VAN GELDER" stamped on the dead wax of both sides.
A Quartet performed by John Coltrane (tenor saxophone), McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Elvin Jones (drum).
The disc looks and plays NM on both sides.
The gatefold laminated cover is NM-. Strong/No split. Just a small dent at corners and a small crack on spine see picture). The spine is intact and readable.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++ (NM-), VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
