Up for auction is African Dub Chapter 4 (JGM 8042). Produced and engineered by Joe Gibbs & Errol Thompson, this roots dub recording was released on the Joe Gibbs label in 1979. Backing includes Robbie Shakespeare & Lloyd Parks (bass), Horsemouth Wallace & Sly Dunbar & Boo Richards & Neville Grant (drums), Willie Lindo & Bo Peep (guitar), Winston Wright & Bubbler (keyboards), Nambo Robinson & Arnold Breckenridge & Dean Fraser (horns) and Bubbler & Ruddy Thomas (percussion). Matrices read: JGM 8042-A/ JGM 8042-B. Made in Jamaica, the record was kept in a poly-lined inner sleeve and the jacket in a poly outer sleeve. The jacket and record are both graded Excellent.
