Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Reprise deep groove MONO vinyl LP R-6057 - released 1962
NM vinyl retains like-new shine and gloss. No spindle marks on labels. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed beautifully clear analogue sound. Intros on track one both sides have a few revolutions of barely audible vinyl inherent surface that quickly dissipates into pure clean sound. A virtually flawless pressing. EX cover has straight spine and seams, bone white rear panel and very light shelf wear. There are a few small spine dings and a thin and shallow 3/4" upper seam tear (barely visible).
