Scarce original vinyl LP! (1963)

A magical, wonderful collection of songs performed by JIMMY SCOTT, here on the original 1963 mono pressing from Tangerine Records. This record was withdrawn from the shops almost immediately upon its release (due to contract disputes). The vinyl is in NM minus condition (beautiful sheen with only the slightest of wear). The cardboard cover is in excellent shape: bright and clean, displays wonderfully. There is only the slightest of edgewear, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks of any kind. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. The spine is perfect! The songs are: They Say It's Wonderful; I Wish I Didn't Love You So; There Is No Greater Love; If I Should Lose You; Why Try to Change Me Now; I'm Getting Sentimental Over You; Someone to Watch Over Me; How Deep Is the Ocean; I Didn't Know What Time It Was; Sunday, Monday or Always.

This record is from the collection of a DJ from the 1960's and 1970's. He never even listened to most of the records and stored them in a smoke-free environment. They were placed on hard shelves and were always stored vertically.
