JIMMY REED Just Jimmy Reed STATESIDE LP Mono SL 10055!
Original UK Mono LP with laminated flip back sleeve.
Released in 1963 on the STATESIDE label.
Catalogue number: SL 10055 (Mono).
Matrix numbers read:
A-Side: SRX 3103-2N
B-Side: SRX 3104-2N
Sleeve/Record: VERY GOOD/ VERY GOOD CONDITION (*Plays VERY GOOD+)
Displays a solid presentable sleeve, has some laminate dulling, some laminate edge cracks/creases, some partial touches of edge wear on the bottom, back is slightly grubby and the top flip over edge has some wear. All spine print is clear and legible. Sleeve has no rip/tears (small edge tears on top back flip over edge), no seem splits and no deep lined sleeve creases. Overall condition is VERY GOOD. The original inner sleeve has been preplaced at one time.
Labels are clean, some visible spindle hole trail sheen marks are evident on both sides. Playing surfaces and matrix areas retain the original glossy sheen on both sides, displays some small light noticeable scuffs/marks, with nothing harsh, prominent or that you can feel, in addition there are some smooth, feather light, hairline/fine line surface scuffs/marks, however the vast majority of these mainly appear/shows up when angled and viewed closely under a strong bright light. Overall record’s appearance is VERY GOOD condition. Record plays VERY GOOD+ on both sides, emits mainly a clean sound with no loud/audible background crackles or pops, does have a few odd low level background passing clicks and some low level background surface noise, mainly evident during the very quiet musical passage. From my own collection, used but not abused, played on occasions over the years and plays above visual grading.
