Description
JIMMY RANEY's "The Paris Sessions", Reissued and Remastered in MONO by KING RECORDS of JAPAN (K18P 6733/4) in 1984, is a 2 LP set containing the entire sessions which guitarist Raney recorded in in 1954 in Paris with SONNY CLARK and RED MITCHELL among others (See Scan 2 for full songtitles and personnel). The 2 LPs are both strong NEAR MINT and appear to have been played rarely judging by the lack of spindle of marks on the labels. There are No scratches or marks of any kind Except for on Side B which has an extremely light sleeve scuff with absolutely no audio affect. Both LPs look and play perfect! The facsimile French Vogue labels are especially fine (Scan 3).
The Gatefold Cover is very nice with a faux-leather texture. It is in strong VERY GOOD PLUS condition with just very light wear - a mark here and there, with the only defect, a 1" split on the front top seam which had been taped. Corners are generally sharp and the rest of the seams are entirely intact.
