Description

This is one of a series of LPs and EPs -- some sealed, some quite rare -- that I will be listing over the next several weeks and months.

This item is a very rare vinyl 2-LP pressing of No Quarter, the re-union album by the duo of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.  After the release of In Through the Out Door – which I quite like, even to this day – the band made its return to the concert stage at the Knebworth Festival in 1979.  Shortly thereafter, of course, John Bonham died and the band decided to discontinue.  Each of the band members pursued their own projects and, except for a reunion for Live Aid and for the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary show, the band members insisted that Led Zeppelin was no more, and that there would be no collaborations.  Around the early to mid-90’s, however, Page and Plant (minus John Paul Jones – unclear why he was excluded) got back together, recorded an album and did a tour.  This album was the product of the tour (which also resulted in a video of the show as well).  Of course, Zeppelin re-formed for a one-off show last year in England and – who knows? – they may someday do another tour.  Having never seen the band live – although I did see Robert Plant solo back in 1983 – I would definitely go this time.  This is the EXTREMELY RARE US pressing of the album on Atlantic Records, together with the original flats inserts.  The cover shows some very mild aging (yellowing) in the upper right-hand corner, but otherwise the cover, vinyl and inserts are in excellent to near-mint condition.

The vinyl and the cover are in excellent condition, as shown in the photo.

I do not use stock photos.  The photo shows the actual item up for auction.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty years (education expenses – and soon-to-be college expenses -- are the reason I am selling my collection...).

Shipping and handling is determined by weight and is per record, not per title.  The shipping costs are as follows: $4.00 for one record via media mail to anywhere in the U.S.   Each additional record is an additional $0.40 for media mail shipping.  Priority shipping within the U.S. is a function of weight and postal zone, and I will e-mail an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).

Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again my invoice will provide the cost information.

NOTE – there is no tracking of packages through the USPS without delivery confirmation.  If you would like tracking ability, you must purchase delivery confirmation for $0.75

International Buyers – Please Note:

·         Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·         Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·         These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·         We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

NOTE:  Due to recent circumstances, I can now ship internationally ONLY VIA PRIORITY MAIL.  If you are outside the US, Priority International is the standard shipping, due to the fact that under Paypal rules, tracking must be included on EVERY package outside the US.  The cost depends upon the weight and the country of destination.  I will provide the cost for each option in my post-auction invoice (and, again, I can provide the info during the auction, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of records).  To Canada, it will be $20.50USD for one record.  To most other countries, it will be about $28.00USD for one record.  I recognize that this will result in much higher shipping costs and I apologize for this change, but it is necessary under the Paypal rules now in effect.

I will always combine items, so that your shipping costs will be more manageable.  Payment must be made by paypal as per recent rules imposed by eBay.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction andr I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.

Should you have any questions at all about postage or about any item in particular, please do not hesitate to contact me through My Messages in eBay.
