The Sounds Company (Jimmy Dale Orchestra And Chorus, Vocalists Rhonda Silver And Tommy Ambrose)-From CBC Toronto, CBC Radio Canada Transcription, LM-25, 1960s.

Extremely rare/holy grail Canadian/broadcast-only vocal jazz/sunshine pop LP, featuring The Mutual Understanding’s Dale, Silver, and Ambrose. An incredible discovery, The Sounds Company is the same line-up as The Mutual Understanding (and recorded within a year or so of In Wonderland). Includes original material from Dale and a similar selection of vintage tunes a la In Wonderland. This album was only for radio play, pressed in minor quantities (100 or less, now near extinct), and never sold in stores. Early LM (light music) titles are virtually extinct/off-the-radar of most serious collectors, and most importantly, heavily enjoyable spins for fans of sunshine pop, vocal jazz, and soft jazz groove. Comes w/ stock CBC Radio Canada stock soft 12” sleeve. Deep cuts. Ultimate recommendation.
