TITLE/ARTIST: OK, I'm back again - So, please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of my very earliest and most treasured record albums by a true legend of early R'n'R music, Jimmy Bowen, from back in 1958 - self-entitle simply, "Jimmy Bowen". The rare album is on the white with colored spokes, Roulette Label and has become highly collectible to rock 'n' roll enthusiasts. For one thing, it is the 1st and only solo LP by this artist - and is yet another album which is in super good overall condition. Jimmy Bowen went on to become a legendary and highly successful record producer/arranger for all genre's of music after this release. As stated earlier, the album is on the white, with colored spokes, Roulette Label and includes 12 great songs - including a couple that were minor hits for Jimmy Bowen (see the pics above for all the song titles).The 1958 released LP is in MONO and, appears in very nice overall condition - but please see pics above and read on. LABEL INFO: This original, "colored spokes", Roulette Label (R 25004) is nearly perfect with no visible issues at all - I don't even see too any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention - in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased! JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also primarily in great shape - especially the attractive and glossy front side - but there a couple very small scuff marks in the corner areas, a small amount of very light wear/aging on the backside and open edged seam. But other than these fairly minor issues, the "unusual pictured" jacket appears to be very clean and nice (check it out above).  INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this LP is in very good overall shape, and apparently is highly desired by both serious R'n'R fans or for those collector's of rare and unusual LPs. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too----so please continue to check out my site. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties.
