1967 UK POSTER by Hapshash & The Coloured Coat (Nigel Waymouth and Michael English). Featuring Jimi Hendrix at the Fillmore Auditorium, supposedly Hendrix commissioned it himself, and published by OSIRIS VISIONS LTD. in London, England.

As with most used posters, the usual pin holes in the corners (see photo), small amount of edge rubbing, a little almost invisable light staining, and one small 1cm tear (see photo), BUT . . . . . . overall in really fantastic clean and bright condition.

Below I print two emails I received this afternoon (14th October 2006) from eBay Member "old.shep". Having read the first email, DON'T PANIC!! But read the second one and be confident and rest assured that this poster is all it says it is.
Sat, 14 Oct 2006 08:00:49 -0700: Hi, thought you should know, the poster is not an original 1967 print, it was done after Hapshash closed winter '67, probably by the printers who had the screens and kept on producing till when? The give away is the ends of the feathers in the headdress that goes into the red colour are infilled in red - the original are like the rest of the feathers in gold. This run had for years thought to be original, I contacted Nigel Weymouth and he agreed that this one was not run by him. Sorry to be the bringer of down news, but I have the same unsigned print, and as a screenprinter I noticed the difference. Many of the dealers still sell this print as original although there was a letter and pic I sent to the record collector who printed the info about it. I also put it on ebay with the relevant info pointing out its history. A few dealers no longer sell it as a 1967 more like an early 1970's. Thank you, eBay Member "old.shep"

Your poster IS an original Westbourne Terrace address print, the ends of the feathers are in red, the bootlegs have the ends in gold - the same as the background. The Westbourne Terrace address was Nigel's flat - they later moved to another address which escapes me at the moment, I think Charlotte St. Yours is
