JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE Electric Ladyland (Polydor) Australia 1968.

Here's an ULTRA RARE!! Original Black Polydor Labeled Australian 60s 1st Pressing of "Electric Ladyland". Shortly after this release Polydor in Australia switched to 'Red' labels, (possibly within a matter of weeks), that's why you very seldom see this 1st Press.

Many local dealers still (mistakenly), believe the Red label Pressing is the Original Australian Press (that's how few actually turn up!) ..ie. i haven't had another copy for around 15 years, now..

There's a Printing Error on both Labels, both discs are labeled Side 1 & 2. I can't recall if they were all done this way...or if this is a "one off" Error.

The Cover is VG+ (see pics & zoom), general shelfware, moderate edge chipping, a bit of spotting/discolouration inner gatefold. Minor wear to the labels. The Vinyl's are EX-, still nice and glossy with..faint sleeve scuffing, and play well with occasional light crackle. There's a small smudge mark/discouration on Side 1, possibly a minor pressing fault (see pic 7, for a close-up shot), it causes some light clicking for a minute of two, but not that bad.
