Here we have a true Holy Grail for the Hendrix collector. An absolutely NEAR MINT copy of the Mono edition of Axis: Bold as Love from 1967 on the black and silver Track label. The cover is as near to perfect as is humanly possible for an album of fortythree years of age. There are just two small white dots on the spine two thirds of the way down, if you'd like to see a picture, ask and I'll send to you. I have taken a lot of pictures of this disc if anyone needs to see any more. This came from the collection of an old work colleague who was extremely careful with his vinyl and I DEFY anyone to find a copy of this item that could possibly be in any better condition. Silent grooves welcome the listener in and it stays that way all through, it's IMMACULATE. The dead wax matrices are 612003 A1 and B1. Not even a fingerprint on the surface as far as I can see. As a collector I am sad to have to sell this but I've been out of work for some time and I am having to do stuff like this. There are no nasty marks around the centre holes on either side of the disc and it's clean, shiny and flat. Here it is in its original state complete with poly-lined inner bag. The psychedelic lyric sheet is flat and free of any creasing, in fact it's just like new. I was offered over £500 for this by an American collector a few years ago who is sadly no longer with us; he paid by US postal orders which I had to return as I couldn't get their value here. He died before we could sort it all out I'm very sorry to say, he was a very nice guy. Please feel free to ask anything you like and I'll endeavour to answer your questions. I repeat, I defy anyone to find a better copy of this particular collector's item. This is the real deal, the absolute acme. You won't find better. Let the World wash in.
