Description
With the 50th anniversary of the death of Jimi Hendrix coming later this year, on the 18th September, this is a great time to collect this excellent original version of this classic album.
This LP is an original UK 1st Pressing, in mono. It's The Jimi Hendrix Experience's second album, which was released on the Track Record label in December 1967. The sleeve is a gatefold with flipback edges into the centre spread, and has a gloss laminated front and back, and a matt black-and-white printed inner. The original printed gatefold insert sheet, with lyrics in red lettering, is included.
This album is from my original personal collection, which I am now selling off.
I have graded this record using the Goldmine Standard grading system. Although it has been visually graded under LED lighting, I have also playgraded it. I consider that I have been very honest with my assessment, and have not over-graded it. Photos can never do justice to the condition of a record, so I've tried to describe the vinyl's condition as accurately and fairly as possible, so as not to disappoint the buyer.

I am grading this as VG+. There is just a little scuffing and only a few hairline, non-audible scratches. There is a great clear sound to this LP, and despite a little background static crackle, only noticeable between some tracks and quieter passages, the playback is excellent considering its age. The vinyl still holds a very good gloss. There are no skips, jumps, or sticking. The labels are in excellent condition with very little spindle scuffing, and no hole wear. No stickers, and no writing.
I am grading this as VG+. This is in really good condition for its age. It has a few small laminate creases along the top and bottom edges of the gatefold, but that's all. The colours are still vibrant, and the laminate is still glossy. The corners and the open edge of the gatefold are only slightly bruised. The spine is in great shape. The gatefold inner printed surfaces are in excellent condition. The orange insert gatefold sheet, with red printed lyrics, is also in excellent condition, with only very light handling creases. The original polylined record sleeve is showing age related yellowing, and some corner creases. There are no splits, no stickers, and no writing.
This album will be sent by Royal Mail 1 day Special delivery, including insurance.
The album will be sent out in a sturdy purpose made LP album packaging, with added card stiffeners, and marked 'FRAGILE' and 'DO NOT BEND'. The disc will be sent in a new inner polylined paper sleeve, but separate to the main outer sleeve, to avoid damage from movement in transit. The whole album will then be enclosed in a polythene album outer sleeve.
