Description
This here is the classic second Jimi Hendrix album, "Axis Bold as Love". Great album, classic, groundbreaking heavy psych from the incomparable JIMI. This is also, the ultrarare MONO 1st edition, 1967 R 6281! Many record collectors (myself included) believe that the mono versions of 1967 albums like this (Sgt. Pepper is another example) sound noticably better than the stereo versions. Therefore, this hard to find record is a must have for any collector of great sounding sixties rock, and especially for Hendrix completists!
Condition: I like to use the Goldmine's record rating system (NM: Nearmint, VG+ (excellent), VG (Very Good), G (Good, but not very), F (I won't put Fair records on ebay)). People have different opinions of what these mean so I will try to be specific and welcome questions.
Album Cover: VG+. This cover is in excellent condition, near perfect!. Goregeous colors, framable quality. Record: VG to VG+. The appearance of the record is very good. Mainly very clean looking, but some light marks hurt the appearance. However, these marks do not affect the sound. THE SOUND IS AMAZING. Incredibly clean, full, heavy rock sound abounds from every moment of this record. There are tiny pops here and there (as on any record, especially one that is 39 years old), but honestly, this is the quintessential way to listen to this album! This record, in this condition is an audio motherlode, and I can recommend it for any serious collector. You cannot lose.
