Description

JIM BURGETT -- Recorded For The Swim Set -- ex. rare, original mid-1960's U.S. album.  Excellent and way obscure private press Garage-Rockabilly-Frat Rock LP recorded live in Lake Tahoe circa 1964 - 1966 by local California artist Burgett who's best known for his smokin' early Sixties Rockabilly 45's like "Pick Up a Couple-a Records."  Similar vibe to Jack Bedient & The Chessmen albums w/ terrific vocals and guitar work, and surprisingly good sound quality for a live concert recording from the 1960's.  This is apparently the only album Burgett ever released.  A very difficult record to come by -- only rarely comes up for sale.  See photo for track list.  Cover:  Good+ to VG-, ring wear, removable price sticker upper right front, wear and 2" separation in middle of spine, small 1/2" split lower right edge, writing in ink on back cover near song titles.  Record:  Fair to Good, moderate surface wear and surface marks, small writing and stamp on one side of label; album well-worn but plays surprisingly well; on Wolfgang private label, U.S. press.
