JIM BROWN - Nowadays Crisis / JIM & SOUNDEMENSION - Nowadays Version (Studio 1) - 7" - 1985
Beautifully presented original pressing of this Coxsone Dodd-produced Studio One 7" featuring Jim Brown's Sleng Teng killer Nowadays Crisis backed by The Sound Dimension's version. The vinyl retains an excellent sheen with just a few very light superficial surface marks and one light scratch, measuring 1cm, on the B-side - nothing serious - see descriptions below.
A-side: There is only the tiniest hint of any background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with an occasional tiny pop or click plus just a few slightly more prominent ones. Grade - EX
B-side: There is only the tiniest hint of any background surface noise - hardly audible in fact - with some tiny and occasional very small pops and clicks. In addition, the light scratch highlighted above causes clicks during the first minute that range from virtually inaudible to smallish, most of them being tiny / very small. Grade - EX- improving to EX-/EXLabels: The words 'PTO' and 'Sleng Teng' have been written on the A- and B-side labels respectively (see scan).
