JETHRO TULL - OFF THE RECORD SPECIAL - 1982 US RADIO SHOW 2LP - VERY GOOD+
This is a very very rare 2LP US Radio Show of the program "Off The Record Special" a weekly program of music and interview on the American FM Radio Network. This one features Jethro Tull and has as guest Ian Anderson who is interviewed by Mary Turner, the host of these shows. Tracks on this record are: Side 1: Incue; Bungle In The Jungle; Teacher; Bourée; Commercials; Outcue; Side 2: Incue; Locomotive Breath; Skating Away; Song For Jeffrey; Nothing Is Easy; Commercials; Outcue; Side 3: Incue; Thick As A Brick; Too Old To Rock And Roll; Commercials; Outcue; Side 4: Incue; Aqualung; Flying Colours; Outcue. All nicely talked together by Mary and Ian, and spiced with various commercials; it is very interesting what Ian Anderson responds to Mary Turner's questions during the interview! Total running time: 1 hour 20 seconds.

This double LP was to be aired on US Radio the week of 12th July 1982 (week 28). It is released by Westwood One, California, USA, release number OTRS #82-28. The show comes with a one-page cue sheet segmented in parts and easy to follow while playing/listening (meant for the DJ). The cue sheet is on the back of the sleeve (see picture). Both LP's are made of thick quality vinyl.
The LP's come in white paper inner sleeves and then go in the "Off The Record Specials" non-gatefold sleeve. They are in very good condition; all four sides have some surface noise here and there but certainly no deterioration in the sound quality; there are no scratches that cause jumps, only a few tiny superficial ones. The inner sleeves are like new; there is only some small writing of figures in the top right corner on one of them. The sleeve is in excellent condition, there is no tear or wear, there are no nicks nor stains, and there is no writing on it; the same for the cue sheet. Overall, this double LP can be graded as in VG+ condition.
Westwood One Radio Shows are hard to find and this one is no exception. Surely a nice piece for your Jethro Tull collection!!
