Description
EVERY WINDOW IN THE CITY / Come On Over To My Place - (Capitol 5394) While Jerry Cole 's recorded output consisted mainly of surf instrumentals, this time out has him on lead vocals for this Los Angeles based, double-sided jewel released in April of 1965. JACK NITZSCHE, arranger/producer extraordinaire, arranged and conducted both sides of this fantastic, Spector inspired disc and 'WRECKING CREW' sax player, STEVE DOUGLAS was producer. Recorded at the Capitol Tower in Hollywood, the talents of DARLENE LOVE and The BLOSSOMS are on background vocals. (The B-side was written by Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil.) There was a chart war with this version and another out of New York by Ritchie Adams on the Congress label. While both were wonderful efforts, neither made any noise. The labels of this disc are free of marks and the vinyl is a shimmering, clean and shiny VG++. (Hear both sides)
