FIRST VINYL GATEFOLD PRESSING, 1971, ORIGINAL VINYL!
This IS it! One of the most sought and one of the rarest of the golden KRAUTROCK scene as released in micro-quantity in 1971 when the label pulled production almost immediately. Therefore as long as 20 years ago the mighty JERONIMO "indian cover" Lp was easily getting $600 - $800 (back then!) in collector circles around the universe!
This is the second and easily best of three JERONIMO albums.
A powerful bombastic melodic HEAVY Psych powerhouse trio filled with dynamic distortion guitar within killer status self penned tunes! Every track a winner as the relentless onslaught drives on... powered by rhythms of throbbing bass lines and punishing drumming. The English vocals are suitably rough & gritty... You haven't heard HEAVY PSYCH until you've experienced the mega wall-of-sound by JERONIMO on their withdrawn 1971 BEAST which, incidentally, blows away such similar "heavies" as Sperrmuul, 1st Lucifers Friend, Blackwater Park, Dies Irae, Night Sun, Hairy Chapter, etc etc etc...We're talkin' top of the heap monstrous fuzzed-up heavy of heavies...
Most of the original limited pressings that were released are in private collections -- never to be let go...it isn't often a MINT original is up for offers...be aware that copies fetched easily $600 to $800 some 20 years back...as values rise, it's up and up through the stratosphere...
