Description

various artists:Maps To the Stars' Homes (no label/1980)
Jeanne and the Weenies:DMV
Vol Meters & the All Pentad Band:Feel So Bad
McRamirez:Smart Patrol
Clarke & Fishman:Mr DNA (Devo song)

Very weird mystery Southern California punk/new wave 7" compilation features 4 obscure bands, who might actually be only one band. The highlight is Jeanne with her goofy vocals over a quirky punk wave guitar/organ backing. It opens with about 7 seconds of drum beats, which could be a sampler's dream (or nightmare). This song is credited as being produced by one Jed The Fish, who was a DJ with the Los Angeles radio station KROQ. The Vol track is Devo-esque electro-wave. Clarke & Fishman's Devo cover has a good guitar-driven punk beat going until it disintegrates in a synthesizer mess at the end.
The record comes in a thick cardstock sleeve. The record's labels are blank yellow. 4 stickers with the song titles are included. The EP is in its original outer plastic bag which has a hype sticker for the Weenies glued on (see scan). The stickers are in excellent shape.
The sleeve is in ex condition (very slight creasing). The record looks Ex (a few light scuff marks), plays Mint minus.
