J.D.R.-IOWA RECORDS (IGL) -“TICKET TO RIDE”-BEATLES COVER-NM
After IGL Record # 192, they did a lot of custom releases. This record is one of those releases. It is Cherokee, Iowa’s J.D.R. on Iowa Records (#238). They serve up a great Beatles cover, “Ticket To Ride.” Only 250 pressed. The vinyl is NM as are the labels. Came from the large vault of IGL Records I acquired. See photos. Bids start at $23.99.
IGL & SONIC RECORDS ARCHIVE
If you are a record collector of amazing 60’s garage music, then Milford, Iowa’s IGL & Sonic Records are one of the “Holy Grail” ‘60s labels in existence. I was able to acquire an amazing grouping of IGL/Sonic 45 records with 98% being in mint condition. It was like going into the IGL vault. It’s almost unheard of considering that many of these discs are now close to 58 years old. I’d suggest if you collect these labels, here is your chance to get amazingly scarce mint copies. I doubt you’ll see this opportunity again. In a few cases if it is not Mint, I’ll note that. There are a few of those as well.
To those that collect the rarest of the IGL LP’s, then the “Steve Ellis’s Songbook” on the IGL label is the label’s most sought-after LP, especially in MINT condition. Well, then here it is. Here is MINT copy of the ultra-rare 1967 release. It’s not a re-issue, but the real deal.
