Up for auction is a Jazz LP record by Chet Baker and Art Pepper, "Playboys," World Pacific Records, PJ-124, 1958, Mono.

This record was first issued on the Pacific Jazz Label in a World Pacific cover in 1957. The 1957 and 1958 issues are both rarer than later reissues.

The record is in good condition. There are fine surface lines on the playing vinyl, but only a few. However, there is a small piece of vinyl that has chipped off the edge, but it is in the trailoff area, and should not affect play. At least it didn't on my player.

The cover (an obvious homage to Playboy magazine) is in very good condition. The front has some light record wear. There is visible chipping and wear on the seams. The back has some age discoloration and the original price written in pencil.

NOTE: Any white spots on the picture are from my camera flash. I look forward to spring when natural light will be abundant.
