Record has been play tested at least a few dozen times on my SL-L92.
A terrible shame, but the vinyl is, in spots, moderately to heavily marked .....side 1 looks better than side 2, but they both have marks. Please scroll through all 12 photos, it is hard for me to capture scuffs when the light isn't just right but I think I got a few good shots.
Record ........is still a VERY enjoyable listen. I do understand that some folks want mint or excellent, you would be disappointed with this purchase if that's what you expect from this LP and paid too much.
I don't have the tools or machine to properly clean a record, but it is highly probable this LP would improve with a good cleaning.
During playback, the music is crisp and in front. The sound is fantastic.......but there are flaws.
The worst flaw is a 30 second (or about) duration on KA-LINK where you will probably experience some skips / track jumps.....(Maybe a better turntable set-up would run through?).......other than that you can expect some evident static in areas, and also a few spots that have some short lived rotational tics / pops. Again, not overpowering the music, but audible nonetheless.
I don't want to over grade, nor under grade. I want to say I am comfortable with a VG grade. To me that means a truly enjoyable record, good sharp sound, shows some markings, has some tics and pops.......and yeah a few track jumps. Worth owning in every sense. I guess you could say the skips are G......while a much larger portion of playback resides in the VG+ realm.
Cover the same VG grade with a bottom seam split and some writing on back. Plain sleeve.
As with every LP I sell, satisfaction promised. Winner of this should be very happy so long as they can tolerate a few audible imperfections. Good luck on this .99 cent no reserve auction!
