A lot of people are familiar with Jay Mitchell's tune "Goombay Bump" and his series of great private pressed island funk LPs out of Grand Bahama during the late 60s and 70s. The impossibly rare 45 which is up for grabs here though seems to be almost ENTIRELY unknown. "Catch The Fish" is a storming uptempo dancer that fits in nice on both the northern soul and funk scenes. The flipside is a superb deep soul ballad. Have a listen below! This is beyond rare.
Vinyl condition: G+ (has got scratches ALL OVER the vinyl from being unsleeved for a time, but the uptempo side plays amazingly well considering this. the ballad side has got more prominent clicks. listen below!)
