Description
This is a very unusual find. It is the only one of these I have ever seen after decades of record collecting. I have looked for a few years now and I am unable to find another one of these anywhere. It may be a special one off or very small production item.
This is a WWI Era Japan 78 rpm / 10" record carrying case. It is made of paper mache or some type of cloisonne. I obtained this many years ago in a collection from a former WWII Veteran. He brought back some records in it that were kept in amazing condition because of the case. I thought it would be best preserved to sell it all together as a set. The records included are all Japan pressings.

CONDITION: the records are VG+ to NM (most NM or very close to NM), company sleeves are VG to VG+, the case is in excellent condition with only light wear to the corners, the handle is the only area with major notable wear

We pack 78's in between rigid cardboard. Then tightly shrink wrap them so that they do not move or shift around. Then we bubble wrap the cardboard/records and put them snugly in the middle of a box with peanuts on all sides. After years of having them break through many other methods we have had a great level of success with this method and have shipped 78's that were over $1000 in value without issues. We have literally learned how to pack them correctly at out own expense over the last 15 years and feel very comfortable with this current process. We can ship this way standard Media Mail for a low cost as shown on the calculated shipping price. We can fit up to 5 (10" ONLY) in a medium flat rate priority box.
