CHEAP THRILLS! - 1968


ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL MONO!

This auction is for Big Brother and the Holding Company - Cheap Thrills - Columbia KCL 2900 (MONO). This is a monster, one of the rarest major label monos, released in 1968. Many people prefer the mono mix for its punchier, ballsier sound, and the mono release of this title is notoriously rare. You'll see 100+ stereos to every mono copy in any condition, and this copy is in beautiful condition (look at the photos).


CONDITION: DISC: VG++, full gloss, just a few ultra light paper sleeve scuffs, plays strong. LABELS: M-, maybe one ultra light spindle mark on each side (you have to look very close). Original MONO labels are clean with no writing or other problems. COVER: VG++, nice and solid cover, still stout and fresh, very little general wear (see the photos).. Overall, a highly desirable example of this important Janis Joplin/Big Brother/San Francisco Sound/psychedelic rock artifact.
