JAMES BROWN~HOT PANTS~POLYDOR~US 1ST PRESS~'71~NM/SHRINK

*THE AMAZING JAMES BROWN AUCTION*

The most complete James Brown Auction you will ever see-- most items in EX or better condition-- a once in a lifetime opportunity (DON'T MISS OUT!!)!!
For those who have a complete James Brown collection but could use some upgrades, this is your opportunity!!

*******FROM THE ARCHIVES OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION*******

This is the rare US original first pressing of, "Hot Pants," by James Brown on Polydor 4054 released in 1971. This was Brown's first LP with Polydor Records-- alternate version of "Hot Pants," different from single version.   Super rare in high grade condition! Please look at my other King, Tamla/Motown/Gordy, Stax, Atlantic, Keen, Volt and ABC-Paramount Soul LP's!

***CONDITION***

VINYL: NM (9.5)

    (See grading chart below)

COVER: NM/Shrink

(See grading chart below and picture)   PLEASE NOTE:

MY GRADING IS VERY CONSERVATIVE, AND THAT ANYTHING I GRADE EX OR BETTER SHOULD PLAY LIKE NEW! MY VG+ MAY PLAY WITH VERY MINOR CRACKLE AT WORST, BUT NO CLICKS OR POPS, AND EVEN RECORDS GRADED G WILL PLAY THROUGH WITHOUT SKIPPING OR STICKING GUARANTEED.

ALL RECORDS ARE GRADED VISUALLY UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED!
I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOISY OR POOR PRESSINGS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VINYL'S CONDITION AND EVRYTHING TO DO HOW THE VINYL WAS PRESSED/MANUFACTURED!!!

This LP is difficult to find in any condition, so don't let this very rare original gem at a low starting bid and no reserve pass you by!! I strive for a five star transaction.  If you feel that it is anything less than that, please email me before leaving feedback. WHY SHOULD YOU BID ON MY ITEMS? All vinyl/cover descriptions are clear with no language such as, "I suspect," I hope" or "Should," used. All photos are of the front and back covers and the label of the actual item you are bidding on. What you see is what you get!! SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE!

FEEDBACK

I only leave feedback after the transaction is fully completed-- meaning that the buyer has received the item and has demonstrated that he/she is happy with it or the resolution of an issue by leaving positive feedback.

I am to please; so if your buying experience with me is in anyway less than 5 stars, please contact me before leaving feedback, so I can do my best to correct it.

Welcome to Soultown, USA in the Land of No Reissues

I buy and sell 60's R&B ORIGINAL vinyl only-- no reissues abide in my world. I believe in treating my bidders the way I want to be treated when I'm bidding. I try to grade conservatively and have someone accuse me of under grading, rather than over grading!! I am also a fast payer and I expect sellers to ship to me in like manner!!

My Grading (Visual, unless otherwise noted)

VINYL:

Mint (M, rarely used grade, if ever), 10: Verifiably unplayed and unblemished. Only manufacturing marks accepted. Full gloss and shine and labels have no spindle trails or wear.

Near Mint (NM), 9.0-9.9: Looks flawless. Maybe played a few times but no marks due to mishandling. Looks brand new and retains full gloss and shine. Labels have little to no spindle trails or wear.

Excellent (EX), 8.0-8.9: A few light scuffs (but no scratches) that do not cause any surface noise at all and Labels may have a few spindle trails. Will play NM. Will still have full gloss.

Very Good Plus (VG+), 7.0-7.9: A few light scuffs and/or scratches that are superficial and only cause minimal surface noise (nothing distracting-- no clicks or pops). Labels may have light wear and a few spindle trails at hole and some minimal writing. A played but well (if not perfectly) cared for record. Vinyl still has most of its gloss and shine.

Very Good (VG), 6.0-6.9: This means very good not half trashed!!! Record will have several light superficial scuffs and/or scratches and a few needle scratches some of which may be felt and heard, but record will play thru w/o skipping or sticking. Record may also have some minor groove wear, which will add to surface noise. Spindle holes can have several trails and moderate wear and writing on labels. Vinyl must retain some of its gloss and shine.

I normally do not sell items below VG, but when I do, I will give a thorough description in listing.

COVER:

M: (Rarely used grade, if ever) An absolutely flawless cover often with shrink wrap!

NM: Cover may have only one or two minor flaws (slight corner ding, light ring or seam wear or slight age discoloration) that one would have to strain to see, but looks nearly flawless. No writing, tape or splitting whatsoever!!

EX: Almost NM! Slightly more seam or ring wear. Still no writing, tape or splitting!

VG+: Same as EX, but instead of one or two, three or four flaws which may include minor writing and some splitting.

VG: Seams may be completely split and taped and there may be moderate age discoloration along with all the possible flaws of VG+. Also, there may be writing as well.

Again, I am a good and conservative grader, so bid with confidence. Check out my feedback.

ALL ORDERS OVER $100 WILL BE SHIPPED PRIORITY MAIL ONLY, AND ORDERS OVER $300 WILL BE SHIPPED EXPRESS MAIL ONLY!! Please note: I no longer ship to France, due to previous problems!
