Those with covers are still in the original shrink wrap usually show some signs of wear and tears as a result of age.Wear and tears can be spine damage on the corners and edges, sometimes can be scuffs, scratches, peels, rips, old price tags when removed cause rips as well as some writing on the covers and labels. We try to keep all vinyls clean before shipment. GOOD MORNING VINYLS Team HOW WE GRADE OUR LP'SWe grade all our vinyls on the quality of the record and the inner sleeves, and the album cover, some covers may have rough and spine scratches around the corners, but the LP is a perfect mint condition we'll add to descriptions if there is any noticeable damage. The records are graded visually (If they have been test played, there will be an indication saying so in the product description). Some defects are easy to see, such as scratches and warps. Others are subtle, such as groove wear from using a cheap turntables with out of aligned tone arms. Most vinyls that were recorded in the early 50's to the 1970's were of better recording quality than the their 1980's recording, this was when most record companies were more interested in the bottom line than good quality recordings.
