Description

Original 1965 stereo test pressing of “Jackie McLean – Jackknife”, a Blue Note album that was not released at the time. It finally was released iin the late ‘70s as part of the double album “Jacknife” with a different mastering and pressing plant.

Written on the Plastylite pressing plant label is BST 84223, 10-29-65. The Plastylite ear and the VAN GELDER stamp are in the run-off groove.

The LP is VG+ and plays with intermittent light ticks.

ONLY 25 TEST PRESSINGS WERE MADE OF EACH BLUE NOTE TITLE.
