JACKIE McLEAN "BLUESNIK" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4067. Scarce vintage jazz Lp from 1961. MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on the labels, no dg. "EAR" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick glossy cardboard cover. The personnel: Freddie Hubbard/trumpet; Jackie McLean/alto sax; Kenny Drew/piano; Doug Watkins/bass; Pete La Roca/drums. The vinyl is in close to NM condition (beautiful gloss)!! The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays nicely. There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. There is some slight wear on a couple of corner tips. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The songs are: Bluesnik; Goin' 'Way Blues; Drew's Blues; Cool Green; Blues Function; Torchin'.
