 Rhino Records, ISBN:0-930589-01-7.
 Few writers have made a visible impact on society. Jack Kerouac, a founder father of the counter culture, is one of the few.
With the release of On The Road in 1957, Kerouac awoke the sleeping giant of a conservative U.S.A., and changed the course of American popular opinion of generations to come.
Now, for the first time in one definitive collection, Rhino Records is making available the complete recordings of Jack Kerouac.
This set features two 1958 recordings from the Hanover Records label: Poetry For The Beat Generation and Blues And Haikus.
Additionally, his third 1959 release, Readings By Jack Kerouac On The Beat Generation, is also included.
Of particular interest to Kerouac aficionados is the inclusion of several unreleased selections, among these the Brandeis University-sponsored "Is There A Beat Generation?" forum at Hunter College (1958), a rare spoken word performance on the Steve Allen Plymouth Hour, and two newly discovered recordings from the Blues And Haikus sessions.
Accompanying this set is a deluxe 40-page booklet featuring extensive liner notes, complete bibliographical information, rare photos, and tributes by Jan Kerouac (Jack’s daughter), Allen Ginsberg, Jerry Garcia, Steve Allen, The Doors’ Ray Manzarek, William Burroughs and others.
 Although the very thin shrink is starting to wear a little,

Many are still sealed or in the original shrink, and quite a few white label promos.
It appears that many were opened up and listened to once then filed away on shelves.
