Lt. signs of wear May have needle marks, Lt. scuffs  only very lt. marks if any only lt. wear or markings  VG+  Moderate surface sounds, not bad Scuffs, wear marks, light scratches, not bad  markings,prints  moderate dings,markings,wear VG Obvious surface noise. Music not overpowered. Used. scuffs, scratches, loss of sheen Wear, markings, tears. Still fully readable  Splits, markings,bends, creases,tears  G Plays with noise. Should be no skips. Worn, not ruined  Recognizable, readable  Placeholder copy. Not pretty, but OK.

* The philosophy is that no record is truly MINT. Even a new, just-opened record has some small anomalies, weird label textures, etc   *Further increments such as +, ++, - and STRONG are used to more closely define the grading.
