Liberty LBS 83 341 1 Original German pressing, released 1969
No reserve on this one folks.
Aside from being a fantastic - and fantastically rare - record J.J. Light's sole LP was a landmark in the unjustly neglected history of Native American rock [think Jim Pepper's Witchi Tai To, Lincoln Street Exit/Xit, Savage Resurrection, even Buffy St Marie].
It also has many other distinctions. Produced and co-written by Bob Markley in the period following the release of the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band's final Reprise LP 'A Child's Guide To Good & Evil', much of the LP featured superb guitar work courtesy of Ron Morgan (as well as Gary Rowles of the later Love line-up). In many ways it was a more worthy successor than the subsequent 'Where's My Daddy' LP.
The title track, co-written between Markley & Stallings, was a hit single in many parts of Europe - but never released beyond a promo in the US. The LP was scheduled for release in the States (and even ascribed a unique catalogue number) but ultimately appeared only in Germany, Holland, France & Colombia(!)
Aside from the fact that Jim Stallings is a lovely guy his debut LP is a long-standing favourite of mine. I was glad to have I helped along the Sunbeam reissue last year (complete with a whole album of unreleased tracks) and have written about his important place in the history of the West Coast Pop Art Experimental via articles for Shindig, Ptolemaic Terrascope and the sleeve notes for the Sundazed CDs.

Both labels are Mint.
The sleeve retains its pristine glossy laminate on the front cover and has very faint discolouration to the rear. There is a minor crease to the bottom right hand corner, but otherwise perfect (that is just glare in the photograph).
Shipping
I ship to all parts of the world. Due to Ebay's new domestic shipping policy, standard postage is free (but see below). For overseas bidders postage costs will be determined at the end of the auction (plus insurance if appropriate) and you will be charged only what you see on the package.
All my records are solidly packed and discs are removed from the sleeve before posting. However, for high value records (i.e. over £100) postal insurance is essential. I appreciate that Paypal gives buyer (and seller) protection - but there are many more hoops to jump through for sellers and I would rather we both have peace of mind. The cost will be determined after the auction is over and you will be charged only that sum - there will be no hidden, or p&p costs.
