Description
J. E. Mainer's Mountaineers – Concord Rag / Country Blues
Bluebird – B-8187
Recorded in Rock Hill, South Carolina 1939
Graded/Plays V+ (Average condition in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion and surface noise not overly pronounced)
10" 78 RPM Shellac Record
Two fine pieces of country music. There’s some chat going on in both, but it’s the interplay of fiddle and guitars that holds the attention. J. E. Mainer's Mountaineers recorded a lot of stuff, all for Bluebird from 1935 but these two titles are from their final 1939 session.
Comes from a smoke-free home
I will regularly be listing Blues and Jazz 78's so please keep checking backPlease note that my postage rate for 78's reflects the additional costs involved of purchasing a specific sized box and using additional packaging materials. Combined shipping rates are available.
I will always endeavor to send out 78 Record orders within 2 working days. However, due to the extra time spent packaging them and only be limited to carrying two boxes a time to the Post Office, I have increased the Handling Time to 4 working days.
