Description
For sale is a very rare copy of the "Spooky Tooth" 12" LP album "It's All About" from 1968.
This record was part of a lot that I won at a local auction, so the history attached to it is unknown.
This record has a listing in the "Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide", therefore making it highly collectable.
The LP is I believe the 1st pressing on the Island pink label Cat no: ILPS 9080 - matrix ILP-ST A/B - LL-DCT 1.
As an added bonus, the signatures of all 5 members are on the rear (see photo). Although the authenticity is unknown, I have no reason to doubt it.
10 songs in total and in Stereo.
GRADING
All records are normally graded visually unless stated, however I have listened to this LP and it is graded accordingly.
The record shows signs of having been played many times with surface marks and scratches present on both sides. There are a couple of minor nicks on the edge of the record which doesn't effect the playing of it, only its appearance when looked at closely. The sound quality remains VG overall despite surface noise and crackles on the quieter parts and in between songs. There is the chance of skipping in places although it didn't when I played it. Overall I would rate it VG/Good at best.
The laminated sleeve has general wear and creasing with a small split on the left side spine. On the rear are the 5 signatures across each member. There is also part sellotape on the bottom right spine where the flap had come loose. Not a tear or split. Overall I would rate it Good.
A very rare item with low starting bid and no reserve.
The record is being sold as is, based on the description above which to the best of my knowledge is an accurate one.
