Description

This is an original copy of the 1979 self-financed debut release from Iron Maiden.

This record has been in my collection since 1983 and has rarely been played since then.

The sleeve is an original sleeve made of card, with a top opening and cut out. The seams are on the outside of the sleeve. The condition of the sleeve is very good. There are no split seams or tears on the sleeve. The edges have some light scuffing and there are some light creases and marks on both the back and front.

The vinyl disc is the original with the following markings in the run off grooves.

Side A: *EG* SA LYN7627-IT ROK-1-A. Side B: ROK-1-B LYN7628-IT *EG* SA.

The vinyl is in very good condition with some light hair marks on both sides. I have not listened to this record for over 20 years and am not able to offer a description of any surface noise if any.

There are two original inserts inside the sleeve.One is an address card 12cm x 8cm featuring the 'Iron Maiden logo' 'Information' '105 Beaconsfield Road' 'London E16 4HT'. The other is slightly larger, 10cm x 15cm. This features the 'Iron Maiden logo' 'Information' 'Soundhouse Tapes £1.20' 'T-Shirts (S,M,L) £3.00' 'Badges £ .40' '(all prices inc. p+p)' 'available from' 'Iron Maiden Information, 105 Beaconsfield Road, London E16 4HT'. Both inserts have yellowed very slightly.
