THE SOUNDHOUSE TAPES
Genuine Original
As anyone reading this will know, The Soundhouse Tapes is the first ever recording by Iron Maiden. Recorded at Spaceward Studios on New Years Eve 1978/79 by Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Doug Sampson & Paul Di'Anno.
The tracks are (Side 1) Iron Maiden (Side 2) 1. Invasion 2. Prowler
All 5,000 copies were sold by mail order within a week of release.
This is one of them.
This copy was bought from a dealer in the U.S. in 2005. It has been played once since then. The sound quality was excellent. The vinyl itself is in very good condition. The sleeve shows some slight signs of wear on the corners and 2 faint creases near the top right corner. These are visible on the photos. It is, otherwise, in excellent condition.
This is a genuine original. The last 2 photos capture as best as possible some of the details on each side of the vinyl:
