Iron Maiden - Live After Death 1985 Vinyl 2LP US NM Jacket - The gatefold jacket is in beautiful condition. See photos. Captitol Records – SABB-12441 1985 Original US Pressing Jacksonville Plant before it closed in 1986 (Stamped "O" in runouts) Cut by Wally Traugott at Capitol Studios ("Wally" and "Mastered by Capitol" etched in runout) Includes both original inner sleeves with printed lyrics and live photos; there is an approx 3" split at the bottom of the 2nd sleeve & some wrinkles. Note: Most of the value is in the jacket. Sides 1 - 3 have static...some loud. Side 2 had something spilled on it at one point. Side 4 has a locked groove approx 1/3 of the way in to Song 3, Children of the Damned. Side 1: SA (in front of SW crossed out) BB-1-12441 F-2 Side 2: SA (in front of SW crossed out) BB-2-12441 F-2 Side 3: SABB-3-12441 F-4 Side 4: S (A below the W crossed out) BB-4-12441 F-1 (When the mastering engineers at Capitol were prepping the lacquer, the person etching the master disc initially started writing the letter prefix for a standard single gatefold album layout (SWBB) instead of SABB which was for Capitol's double LP releases. They made a mistake on the prefix order, manually scratched out or put a line through the SW right on the metal master, and etched the correct SA and BB surrounding it. Because this mistake was made directly on the metal master plates, every single 1985 US copy pressed from those plates permanently inherited the scratched-out error.
