Description

I'm finally parting ways with one of my most prized records so I can pay of some of my debts. Up for sale is my original copy of the scarce 1984 12" EP by Iron Curtain. This underground band was part of the first batch of experimental post-punk groups in Southern California. Lead by Steve Fields, this band pioneered what some call "minimal wave". This was their second release, after 1983's "Terror Story" 7", but definitely what most people consider to be their best release. The 12" EP is in flawless condition, both the sleeve and vinyl. The actual plain-white vinyl slipcase has natural aging and creasing, as seen in the pictures. However, I must emphasize that the vinyl and cover itself are in MINT condition. I have taken very good care of this since I first found it at Vinyl Solution in the early 90's. The EP has four songs, "Tarantula Scream" & "First Punk Wars" on Side One; "The Condos" & "Love Can Never Die" on Side Two. It was released in 1984 on the bands own label ICR.

I guarantee you will not find this record in this good of condition again anytime soon. It is a highly sought after cult-classic and I have seen it go for upwards of $700.

I accept Paypal, Money Orders, Checks and Cash (at buyers own risk!). Buyer to make payment within 10 days of auction closing. Item will be shipped with 24 hours of payment being received and cleared (checks/money orders take 7-10 days). I  WILL ship internationally, but rates will be determined after auction closing. I  highly suggest paying additional insurance, but again, this is at the buyer's own choice. Final shipping price to be determined after the auction, based on buyer's location and choice of delivery method.

I hope this record reaches a good home, as it's one of my favorites. Good luck to all bidders!
