Description

Up for auction is an extremely rare 1970 MONO promotional pressing of Iron Butterfly/Metamorphosis. These mono issues were not available commercially and only pressed in very small numbers specifically for AM radio stations still broadcasting in monaural format. For a 51 year old record the vinyl is exceptionally clean and is visually graded as EX. There are a few paper scuffs on both sides of the vinyl and a few inconspicuous hairlines. The play grade of both sides is EX+NM minus. The gatefold cover is a strong NM with only slight shelf ware which is barely noticeable. The inside of the gatefold is practically Mint.
