Veejay records 1964 Introducing The Beatles Version 1
This record was originally purchased in Chicago by my Mother in 1964. She has been the only owner and had not been played in over 40 years.
This version has the back cover listing of "LOVE ME DO" on side one and "PS I LOVE YOU" on side two but record versions of "ASK ME WHY" and "PLEASE PLEASE ME.
Ive done as much research about this record that I can, and can safely say it fits all criteria of a VERSION 1 with titles back. Along with Version 1 of bracket style logo with left-aligned song titles.
The cover has the 1/4" fold with brown cardboard inside which can be seen in the photos. Although the cover shows wear and there is some separation on the top right corner, I would still grade this a "Very Good" I am no way an authenticated appraiser but from everything I've seen this rates up there with the others. http://www.rarebeatles.com/photospg/vjscans/vj1mc3.jpg
The record is in "Near Mint" condition. No scratches or wear. The color label is still bright and vibrant. And record was played flawlessly just recently.
