Description

THE BEATLES INTRODUCING THE BEATLES VEE JAY SR 1062

Up for auction is what I believe is an authentic copy of this Vee Jay classic. You can clearly see Georges' shadow on the cover in picture one. The back cover shows the song titles cover in picture two. Pictures three and four show that the word "Stereo" is on top, and has the Vee Jay bracket logo. Both "Introducing the Beatles" and "The Beatles" are above the center hole. In picture five, the deadwax looks to be under one inch. The picture is a little fuzzy, but it appears to be about 7/8 inch. Picture six shows that there is an actual slick that was affixed. And picture seven shows that the inner cardboard creeps up about 1/4 of an inch.

The cover is in VG to VG+ shape...it does have a split near the upper right of about 1 and 1/4 inches...however, the rest of the cover is intact, and the spine is strong with "Introducing the Beatles" written, surrounded by Vee Jay. The LP itself is visually in VG shape, some scuffs, but I am a tough grader, and I played it on my Stanton without troubles...so I would say it plays at VG+ and is in much better shape than a lot of these records I have seen. In other words, you won't get a flawless record, but it will play well...and it'll look just fine in a heavy duty plastic sleeve or frame.

Thanks for looking, and good luck in the auction!!!! FREE U.S. SHIPPING!!!! (and just $10.00 for the rest of the world)
