Description
You don't see this one very often. A 100% authentic Introducing...the Beatles Version 1 with "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" on Vee Jay records VJLP 1062. This is a great album to add to your collection.
The cover looks great. I would grade a solid VG++. All seams are intact. A little shelf wear on bottom seam but no splits. Writing on binding is there and well-centered. Light creasing and disc wear on front. Back shows light disc wear as well and someone wrote 1964 very small next to PS I Love You. Cover lists Love Me Do and PS I Love You on back slick. George's shadow is clearly visible. Has the 1/4 inch flaps inside of jacket.
The Vinyl grades G+. There are plenty of light scratches and some deeper ones too along with some scuffs. But the sound quality is good with moderate noise and NO skips. The record does play "Love Me Do" and "PS I Love You". Audio Matrix is clearly stamped into the dead wax on both sides. Also in the dead wax, 63 3402 on side 1 and 63 3403 on side 2 are hand-etched. They are very light and you have to look closely, but they are there.
Labels grade VG-. Vee Jay in oval logo. Spindle hole wear is the biggest detraction. Otherwise, very, very light wear. NO tape, tears, or writing and the print is completely legible.
As with all my records, it will be shipped in a Bags Unlimited cardboard album shipper.
Come with the original add inner sleeve. Seams are torn so record will be shipped in a poly/paper inner sleeve.
