Description

You are bidding on a nice original authentic mono copy of the all-time classic Vee-Jay LP by the The Beatles, 1963's "Introducing...The Beatles" (VJLP 1062). This is the incredibly rare "Version One" that features “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” on both the cover and record itself and is absolutely guaranteed to be authentic. The record is a beautiful VG+ with a super gloss, a couple thin hairlines, and very little wear. The sound explodes out of the speakers and there is just some light surface noise, mostly between tracks. The labels (Centered titles with Oval logo) have some very light wear and no writing. The cover is a solid VG to VG+ with A GREAT SPINE and NO SPLITS! The only thing that prevents it from being a straight VG+ is ringwear on the front and two light and fairly insignificant pen marks on the back (see photo). It is housed in the original plain white sleeve. I've included many photos so you can see what you're getting. Because of legal problems with Capitol Records, VJ had to cease selling the Version One editions and release a Version 2 that had “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me” instead of the other two songs. Needless to say, there were only a limited number of Version One releases and that’s what makes this album so scarce. The buyer will pay $5 to ship via USPS Priority Mail and this one will be double packed. I typically ship within a day or two of payment. Be sure to check out the other high quality original Beatle LPs I'm listing this week as I will gladly combine to lower shipping costs.
