FIRST ISSUE VERSION TWO COVER.

RARE "PASTE OVER" BACK COVER & "PLEASE PLEASE ME" WITHOUT COMMA. 


THE MOST INTERESTING, RAREST AND SOUGHT AFTER VARIATION TO THE MONO VERSION TWO COVER. AFTER THE DECISION WAS MADE TO REISSUE THE ALBUM WITH THE TWO DIFFERENT SONGS, VEE-JAY STILL HAD A SUPPLY OF MONO VERSION ONE COVERS LEFT OVER. RATHER THAN DESTROY THESE COVERS, VEE-JAY HAD VERSION TWO "PLEASE PLEASE ME" BACK COVER SLICKS PASTED OVER THE VERSION ONE BACK COVER SLICKS.


YET ANOTHER RARE HIGHLIGHT ... THE SLICK THAT HAS BEEN PASTED OVER IS INDEED THE VERY FIRST SLICK PRINTED THAT FEATURES THE REPLACEMENT SONG "PLEASE PLEASE ME" WITHOUT THE COMMA.


THIS RARE DOUBLE-ATTRACTION COVER IS QUITE A VERSION TWO TREASURE.

ABOUT THIS COPY:


COVER: As you can see... the cover is not in great shape... however.. here it is in the event you need a placeholder for a while. Seam split at bottom. Tape at the top. Spine reads FINE. Obviously someone tried to PEEL the cover at some point, but you can still tell PLEASE PLEASE ME DID NOT have the comma placed in.


DISC: There are so many, but I THINK I have it right. MONO for sure (trail off has no "S"). The record itself looks MINT to me. Don't think it has ever been played! More on the label: left justified titles / indented credits / "LONG PLAYING" two words. Manufactured by Allentown Record Co. Inc., Penn. (ARC).  


I am starting the low because of the condition, but I know this is rare under ANY circumstances. Thanks for looking at this item.
