Description
Vinyl is bright and glossy with no significant visible imperfections other than some light smudges and plays with some light surface noise (static) noticeable mostly between tracks. The labels are bright and clean with some minor marks around the spindle holes and a name written along the outer edge of side 2 (see photo). Jacket has some edge and corner wear and disc impression/ring wear and a name written along the top back (see photo). The inner sleeve has some edge wear and has "other fine albums of significance" on one side and "the great gospel artists on the other.. I found the (triangle) 5702 and (triangle) 5702-X, Audio Matrix, the encircled AR followed by 63-3-02(appears to be scratched into the vinyl) and a capital A in the run off areas.
This is the version with "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" which were later replaced with other songs. The labels are 3 5/8 inches in diameter and the run offs are 1 1/8 inches wide. The jacket passes the "honey test" (see photo). There are 1/4 inch flaps at the top and bottom inside the jacket. The album was bought by original owner when issued in 1964.
Before bidding on this album, you should research, as I did the best I could (I am not an expert), as to the counterfeit versions on the market.
