My Kool Kollectibles is very pleased to offer this LP from Beatles & Vee Jay Records entitled Introducing The Beatles (VJ LP 1062) released on January 10, 1964 in the U.S. This record is known as a VERSION ONE. It is a first pressing as it contains Love Me Do & P.S. I Love You. Soon after this pressing began, VJ Records was sued for the inclusion of these 2 songs as they had no rights to do so. Production was quickly halted. It is estimated that ONLY around 79,000 copies were pressed of this variation. Vee Jay resumed production of the album in February 1964 and replaced the 2 songs with Ask Me Why & Please, Please Me. This copy is known as the Column Back cover. It is a MONO pressing. The label features the over Vee Jay logo. The print shows "side I" and "side II" and the words microgoove and long playing are present. Trail-off area feature the 63-3402 on side 1 and 63-3403 on side 2 as well as "A" and the Audio Matrix and "ARP" logos. This version was pressed by ARP.
Record is in VG+ condition...light visible lines both sides. Nothing too deep.
Cover is VG. VERY NICE COVER. There is a 6" seam split on the bottom starting from the opening. Cover shows some rub wear and a little staining in top right front corner. No stickers, or writing or tears.
