Vee-Jay Records VJLP 1062 Mono. Introducing The Beatles is the first Beatles Album in the United States. This was the subject of much legal Wrangling, but ultimately, Vee Jay was permitted to sell the Album. The front cover of Introducing ... The Beatles uses Angus McBean photograph that served as the front cover, at that time, Vee Jay cut off the bottom of the photo and also reversed the negative. Thus the members of the group are shown with their famous hair flowing in the wrong direction. Also, the buttons on their jackets are on the opposite sides. The title of the Album appearing at the top of the jacket in two lines as Introducing ... "THE BEATLES" is followed by the phrase "ENGLANDS NO 1 VOCAL GROUP" To let the American public know the group's popularity in there homeland.
This Beatles Jacket is in GREAT Condition, The Front has a very tiny little hint of shelf wear, Mostly on the very bottom. Also the back of Jacket has just a tiny hint of wear, and looks pretty clean. A couple edges have a touch of fraying. And one tiny wrinkle, on the very bottom of front side of jacket. The back of Jacket is a Paste Over, on the very bottom looks like a tiny separation, but it is Not separated and is solid.
The Spine is SOLID and STRONG. The very Top-Top of jacket, is a tiny area of material gone just a touch of it.
The Labels are pretty clean, just a couple of marks around the spindle hole. Also the Famous Typo Error, on the Song CHAINS, it reads (Goffin-King) It should Read (Coffin-King)
The Vinyl has been TESTED and the BEATLES Sound OUTSTANDING, there are a few areas of light marks and scuffs but you can not feel them or hear them. Other wise the Vinyl is in Great Condition.
